There is a very special time of year that we, as the Gruber family, look forward to with the same excitement every single year.

Outside, nature in the Sesto Dolomites is awakening once again. The meadows are turning greener, the days are growing longer, and the first warm rays of sunshine give a glimpse of how beautiful summer in the mountains will soon be. While many people are already dreaming about their holidays, for us it is the season of anticipation.

Because before the first guests arrive, everyone at Hotel Gruber is busy preparing, planning, and adding those special touches that make a stay truly memorable.

There is activity everywhere: rooms are carefully prepared, flowers are planted, the terrace is polished to perfection, and the final details are put in place. In the kitchen, new ideas are being tested and favorite dishes are being prepared for the upcoming season. Hiking maps are updated, insider tips for beautiful tours are collected, and of course, we keep a close eye on the mountains, which reveal a little more of their beauty with each passing day.

Many of these tasks remain unseen by our guests. Yet it is precisely these small details that make all the difference. Fresh flowers on the table. A warm welcome after a long journey. A personal hiking recommendation over breakfast. The feeling of truly having arrived.

As a family-run hotel, these are the moments we live for.
