For our two boys, Alex (6) and Daniel (4), our hotel is much more than just a place – it is their second home. A place filled with familiar faces, warm smiles, exciting stories, and little adventures that become treasured childhood memories.

As we live right next to the hotel, Alex and Daniel spend a lot of their time here. They are always welcomed with a smile. Their grandparents, Marlene and Pepi, live in the hotel, so visiting them is part of everyday life. For the boys, the hotel has simply always been a part of growing up.

One of their favourite things is visiting their dad, Christian, at work. With curious eyes they watch everything that is happening, ask endless questions and discover something new every single day. They also love stopping by the reception desk to see their Aunt Sonja. There is always something going on – guests arriving and leaving, friendly conversations and little moments that make hotel life so special.

Of course, no visit is complete without a trip to the kitchen. The delicious aroma of freshly baked cakes and South Tyrolean specialties is simply irresistible, and there's often a little treat waiting for them. And before heading home, a stop at the bar is almost a must – choosing just one flavour from the tempting ice cream selection is never easy.

What makes us happiest is seeing how naturally Alex and Daniel feel at home in the hotel. Our team is much more than a group of colleagues to them – they are people who have watched them grow up, laughed with them and become part of their everyday lives. Our guests, too, always greet them with kindness and affection. Together, they create something truly special: the feeling of being part of one big family.

That feeling becomes even more magical once the season comes to an end and the hotel closes for a few weeks. The dining room turns into a racing track, the hallways become secret passages, and every staircase leads to a new adventure. The hotel transforms into a wonderful playground where imagination has no limits.

Whenever we see our boys happily running through the hotel, we are reminded of how special life around a family-run hotel really is. It is a place where not only memories are made, but lifelong relationships as well. Our family, our team and our guests all become part of something unique: a home filled with warmth, trust and genuine hospitality.

This is exactly the feeling we hope every guest experiences during their stay with us. Our hotel is not only where Christian works or where Marlene and Pepi live – it is the heart of our family's life.
